Our 28 Day Hostile Environment Private Security Contractor / Protective Service Detail Training Program is designed to give candidates focused training for operating in Austere or Hostile Environments in addition to the Level 3 Close Protection Training.

The Aim of this Training is to offer specific additional elements to the Training allowing candidates who wish to seek work in a more specific sector. This Training is designed with the candidates who wish to seek employment in more Austere or Hostile Environments working as part of a Protective Service Detail (PSD) or Private Security Contractor (PSC) Team. Specialist Elements of the Course focuses on Covert, Overt & Low Profile Team Tactics.

The First 14 days of Training focuses on the Level 3 Close Protection License Linked Training, persons who have already obtained their Level 3 Close Protection Training may progress directly to the final 14 Days of Training once proof of Level 3 Close Protection & Medic Diploma can be shown.

Learning Outcomes Include:

Part 1 – 14 Days

• Develop knowledge, understanding and practical skills required to become a licensed close protection operative such as planning, preparing for a close protection operation including risk assessment.
• Develop skills in conflict management and their abilities in managing and resolving conflict in the context of the role of a Close Protection Operative
• Learn about the legislative framework within which the close protection industry operates; team roles, personal security, and the attributes required, including the importance of team working and interpersonal skills

Part 2 – 14 Days

• Understanding & Familiarization of both Primary & Secondary Weapons Systems (Carbine & Pistol) including Transition Skills as well as developing Tactical Movement Skills for Defensive, Evasive & Offensive Manoeuvres on Foot and by Vehicle.
• Develop knowledge to be able to plan and implement Security Operations in an Austere Environment including Team Management & Security Management for the Safe & Effective Movement of Personnel and Supplies as well as Static Locations such as Secure Compounds and Depots.
• Analyse Specific Risks & Threats and be able to conduct Risk Management & Threat Mitigation Strategies as well as Vulnerability Assessments to Ensure Effective Security Protocols for Asset Protection of Personnel, Property & Goods.
